Evangelist Pamela Wakefield is the Founder and Visionary of Called to Pray Global (CTPG). She believes deeply in the power of prayer and has witnessed throughout her life how prayer and intercession can bring transformation, breakthrough, and change.

Although Called to Pray Global held its first prayer gathering in 2023, Evangelist Pamela’s journey of intercession began many years earlier. In 2003, the Lord led her on a faith assignment to intercede for a family in need. That experience became a significant moment in her spiritual journey and awakened a deeper calling to stand in the gap for others through prayer.

Shortly thereafter, she became part of an intercessory prayer team at a church she attended in Virginia. During this time, her journey as an intercessor continued to develop, along with her understanding of the importance of faithfully praying for the needs of others.

Over the years, Evangelist Pamela has continued to cultivate a life of prayer, seeking God for His wisdom, instruction, and direction. She has witnessed prayers answered, lives impacted, and circumstances changed, and she gives all glory to God for every testimony and answered prayer.

Twenty years after that first God-led intercessory assignment, Called to Pray Global was birthed in 2023 with a Kingdom mandate to pray and a heart to unite believers and intercessors in prayer—standing in the gap for individuals, families, communities, cities, nations, and the world.

Her desire is that Called to Pray Global will continue to be a place where believers are encouraged and equipped to pray, intercessors are strengthened, and people come together in unity to seek God and believe in Him for transformation.
